Founded in 1836, the Ancient Order of Hibernians is the oldest and largest Irish Catholic fraternal organization in the United States. Each year, members of the Augusta chapter of the AOH gather to celebrate their heritage and fellowship at the annual St. Patrick’s Day Dinner held in March. This cherished event brings together local members, their families, and the wider community, highlighting the rich culture, traditions, and values that have been central to the Irish-American experience for generations.
