Members of First African Baptist Church on New Street in Beaufort collect food donations during the week, and give the food out to hungry neighbors on Sunday. Leland Malchow donated 20 cases of water for these families. If anyone wants to drop food and/or donations by on Sunday mornings at 11am, it would be greatly appreciated. One of the grocery stores in the neighborhood is closing, people without cars will no longer be able to walk to a grocery store.
