Common Mistakes After a Motorcycle Accident

I met recently with a man who was involved in a serious motorcycle vehicle accident on Mike Padgett Highway. In meeting with this client, I learned about some mistakes that he had already made in his case before consulting with me. One significant mistake he made was not to try to get the names, addresses, and cell phone numbers of any witnesses to the accident. You should always do this, and also try to take photographs of the scene that will help preserve the scene of the accident. There may be important information in those photographs. Also, seek immediate medical treatment, which this man had not done, and make sure you follow the doctor’s advice.

Lastly, the client had given a recorded statement to the insurance adjuster. I advise all clients not to give recorded statements to insurance adjusters because these insurance adjusters are trained to get information that is helpful in their case and is negative toward the injured victim’s case.
